eBay Super rare mint set of all three original 1986 Pleasant Company American Girl Dolls. Kirsten, Samantha and Molly are each Numbered #86 and autographed by both Pleasant Rowland of Pleasant Company and Franz Gotz of the Gotz Doll manufacturer from Germany. Authentication Papers are included. Only 100 of each of the three original dolls were autographed by both Pleasant and Mr. Gotz. We are the original owners of the dolls as they were gifted to employees of the Pleasant Co. where a family member worked in 1986.All three dolls were never played with and stored in their original boxes in a dry, smoke-free, indoor storage space. There is some normal wear on the boxes. Each doll comes with their initial three books. The first book for Kirsten and Molly are also autographed by the authors. She was hired on to be Pleasant’s assistant, however before she started Pleasant put her in charge of the warehouse as the fulfillment director. All of the first year employees (under 100 in total) were given the three dolls while Gotz, Rowland, and the authors were there signing. They agreed to sign 100 dolls/books in total. The dolls were signed in October and individually numbered. My mom was earlier in the selection process but chose doll #86 because the first year of distribution was 1986. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Meet Samantha Parkington! She is a rare original 1987 white bodied, German made, American Girl Doll. She was signed by Pleasant Rowland & numbered #1144. She comes in her original box, complete with her COA, original meet outfit- (with Made in Germany tags), & her hard cover book.I have also included all original meet accessories, and I even included Samantha’s special porcelain doll. Plus 2 American Girl catalogs.This doll has been impeccably cared for by adult collectors. I am the second owner (24 years), and have never displayed her. She has been kept in her original box in my climate controlled, smoke & pet free home. She would make a wonderful gift for the discerning collector Samantha’s soft, bouncy long brown hair has never been combed or removed from her original style with bow. She stands easily with tight limbs. This doll is truly wonderful and she has been part of my private collection and kept out of sunlight. She is dressed in her blue dress with apron, doll, necklace, socks, shoes, her bonnet, and her pocket dated 1854. . So she did come with a set of bloomers, however I have two- both with elastic in the waist and completely stretched but I don’t know if they are the original ones or not but I will include it. I’m pretty sure they are hers —- I just can’t remember! Her dress does have a hole on the right sleeve and I don’t know how it got there because I very seldom played with this doll. She comes with her original hardcover book that is signed by the author and it’s dated August 1986. I have listed other items that go with her too. This doll is for the true collector! She has her white body with the salmon colored cups. Chipped teeth and Pleasant Company arched into her neck. Beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair in the original setting and ribbons. She comes from a smoke free home and has no odors. She comes from my private collection and has always been gently displayed Please ask all questions prior to bidding as there are no returns.
